NIGHTS AT SEASIDE is Sky and Sawyer's story. Come fall in love with handsome, kind hearted Sawyer "Songbird" Bass and free spirit and lovely Sky Lacroix, a tattoo artist. The locale is Provincetown, Massachusetts, on Cape Cod, known as P-Town. Our hero, Sawyer, is a singer, songwriter, a successful professional boxer, and his father a renowned poet. He is scrumptious to look at and the words that flow so easily from his lips had me hooked immediately. If you believe in fate, in "meant to be," this romance will sweep you up and carry you away until the last page, which to me, is the icing on the cake. His love for his family touched my heart and his joy in an Acapella group with his friends was special. In fact, I found everything about this hero very SPECIAL!

Sky's dreams for owning her own tattoo shop in artsy, colorful P-Town is approaching reality, the grand opening is soon. Her friends are all married, many beginning a family, and Sky wants to find her own special love too. At an Open Mic night attended with her friends, she is reading from her always with her poetry book and hears a beautiful voice singing alone from the stage. His eyes closed, his tender words grab her and touch her soul. He is a beautiful looking man and after his heartfelt rendition, their eyes me and it is magic!

Sky dreams about him that night and when he comes into her shop the next day, she believes it is Kismet. He wants an inking of a phrase added to his already filled back. The magic continues and their relationship builds quickly. Sawyer is everything Sky has ever wished for and he begins to fill the void left by her mother's passing. Sweet with heat truly describes their blossoming love. They have everything is common: family, friends, words, and a future filled with love and togetherness. However, there is one serious thing blocking their path. It is his boxing that Sky can not abide. Sky tried, but no way can Sky accept his boxing.

Addison Cole tells a delicious story with a delectable cast of characters that will make you laugh, cry, and feel so good. Ms. Cole tells a sparkler of a tale about the journey of Sawyer, struggling with his father's fight with Parkinson's Disease. His number one priority is win in an upcoming championship fight to secure a financial future for his beloved dad in his fight against the horrible illness. How difficult it is to watch his father and his mother, who he adored, fight against the illness. His hero, his idol, no longer able to write his poetry as renowned poet, C.J. Moon, is breaking Sawyer's heart. He has to win the fight to enable him to financially help make his father's future easier.

The Seaside gang is such fun and the protective brothers of Sky had me laughing so hard. It is an easy going story about finding true love and kindred spirits. Sky falls deeply in love with Sawyer and wants to be a loyal, loving and supportive partner to Sawyer but his boxing becomes impossible to accept for this kind hearted gal. Their fight to be together forever is tough, but in the end they find a solution. I loved this book. So will you! Kudos, Ms. Cole.
