There's so much depth in ILLEGAL CONTACT by Santino Hassell that it requires your full attention. It will suck you in as the two lads slowly fall for each other - but in my opinion, what's even more important is that they learn about themselves along the way.

By forcing them each to be vulnerable and honest, Hassell grounds Noah and Gavin in reality and leaves me feeling confident their happily ever after will continue long after I've closed the last page.

As the kick-off to The Barons series, this is a solid read. Get in on the ground floor of what is sure to be a popular series!

SUMMARY

The rules of the game don’t apply off the field in this first Barons novel. New York Barons tight end Gavin Brawley is suspended from the team and on house arrest after a video of him brawling goes viral. Gavin already has a reputation as a jerk with a temper on and off the field—which doesn’t help him once he finds himself on the wrong side of the law.
