So, this drama with their dad maybe having an affair got messy in the first book and even messier in ANY TIME, ANY PLACE by Jennifer Probst. I hope as the secrets get revealed more and more than the story will settle. The revelations didn't completely off track this book, but they threatened to a couple of times. I'm about to start the third installment, so I'll report back, faithful Fresh Fictioners!
Raven was the downer for me in this one, just could never fully connect to her. Her grudge against Dalton got old quickly, even though it was kind of understandable.
However, I wished we could have seen the gorgeous bar Dalton created for Raven. The descriptions were drool- worthy - or maybe that's just the daughter-of-a-carpenter talking.
Anyway, ANY TIME, ANY PLACE is a weaker contributor to the series than I would have liked, but definitely not enough to put me off a series by Jennifer Probst.
