Romance Paranormal

As Tristan DuMaine watches helplessly, his castle is taken by Saxon outlaws. Tristan is bound and held as his men are murdered in his own courtyard. He's sickened when his 5- year-old daughter is held hostage, a knife to her throat, to ensure his submission. But the final degradation comes when he's married to the sister of the rebel leader in an attempt to legally claim his lands. Tristan's rage focuses on Siobhan, his new bride, as she belittles and teases him before her brother's assembled company. Tristan is furious as the lovely Siobhan takes great pleasure in making sure everyone present knows the humiliation she has in store for him before he's dispatched, like his men, and the castle is legally hers to claim.

After the wedding night, Tristan is taken away from the castle to be killed, but fate has something else in store for him. The outlaws are attacked by a creature who overpowers and kills them. Miraculously spared, Tristan finds himself still very much in the land of the living, although not strictly speaking, living himself. Now changed, Tristan hears the word Vampire for the first time, and although it has no meaning for him, he soon learns the extent, as well as the limitations, of his newfound powers. Tristan heads back across England to reclaim what is rightfully his. With revenge in his heart and a demon in control of his soul, Tristan rides through the night; back to his child, his home and his devil bride.

There are a lot of vampire romances on the market these days. Vampires are big, vampires are sexy and vampires like Tristan are the reason why. A creature of the night with a quest, a soul and in love is hard to resist. Against her better judgment, Siobhan falls hard and fast for him. I know I did. I'm betting you will, too.

A dangerous destiny...

On the battlefields of Norman Britain, Tristan DuMaine cheated death countless times. Now he only wants to live a quiet life at his borderlands manor.
