Moore creates a dark world that reminds me of something out of the X- Files. Two homicide detectives, Jenner and Carver, are sent to a suspicious scene. What the encounter is anything but normal. They end up with no memory of the scene or what happened.
Together, they are trying to remember but are drawn deeper into a mysterious mind-control, murder plot that has many twists and turns. Can the neighbor be trusted or is there danger in her eyes? You will second guess everyone has this suspenseful read work its way through all the characters and case leads. Moore has created a frighteningly realistic world that will make you question everything. The characters are truly remarkable and vividly realistic with amazingly detailed backstories, determination, and depth. The setting is something from another world written so clearly that it is easy to visualize. Even though this is a fast-paced thriller, there are many drama- filled twists and turns lurking around each page waiting to be discovered.
