COWBOY, IT'S COLD OUTSIDE is the eighth book in the
Twilight, Texas Book series and can easily be read
as a standalone novel. This heartwarming book is set around
the Christmas holiday and is filled with lots of love. This
book is full of hope, family, laughs, and Christmas magic
centered around an insecure cowboy.
Page is a victim to a conman who took everything from her
and now she is trying to rebuild her life. Cash is a
well-known country, western singer. His girlfriend just left
him for his best friend, his band broke up, and his favorite
guitar has been stolen. What more can go wrong? He has given
up on love and commitment is not in the cards for him.
When he sees Page she brings out something in him that
inspires his songwriting and so much more. The Christmas
setting adds to the magic that only Christmas can elicit.
The hope for love and happily ever after.
The characters are very intriguing and somewhat mysterious.
The characters backstories are the main reason for the drama
in their current life and relationships causing major trust
issues. This helps to create a more in-depth story/plotline
creating an overall amazing story. There are several
secondary characters that I would have loved to read more
about and hope that there is another book in the works for
this series. Will fate allow them to be together or will she
have other things in mind?
Wearing a too-tight “Santa Baby” costume held in by a
double pair of Spanx, Paige MacGregor runs headlong into
a gorgeous, grey-eyed hunk of a long, tall cowboy. And
not just any cowboy, but country-western star Cash
Colton, visiting Twilight to perform in a charity
concert. Most women would melt at his feet, but Paige
knows all too much about self-assured men with cocky
attitudes, so she tells him to get lost.
Cash is in town, nursing his own broken heart, but Paige
has knocked him off his feet. He’s convinced she’s
perfect—someone to inspire his music and share his now-
empty bed. True, he’s not marriage material, but he’s
determined to convince her that they’re perfect together—
at least for a while. But what he doesn’t count on is
falling in love with the one woman who isn’t about to
give him the time of day!
