This is a well written novel by Susan Stoker. Both of these characters suffered abuse from one or both parents. The Anderson brothers finally escaped theirs and moved away to pursue careers and make a life for themselves. Grace suffered much longer because she never got away. This is a story about how both parents systematically tore this young woman down from early childhood up through adulthood. I admire her strength that even though she went through hell with these evil people she still had a backbone and found a way to stand up for herself. This story shows how a person can and does find a silver lining in life even when they have been surrounded by evil and darkness thanks to great friends who help her to see that there is some good out there.

Logan Anderson and Grace Mason hoped to have a life together after high school. Unfortunately Grace's parents had other plans unbeknownst to Logan and Grace. They spent years believing neither wanted the other. Once they discover the truth they don't waste anytime in making up for what they missed. But the length these parents from hell will go to get what they want is out of this world. But Logan and Grace have waited long enough and suffered enough and they are done suffering.

CLAIMING GRACE is the first novel that I have read by Susan Stoker and it will not be my last. This is the beginning of a great series about some incredible brothers and what they will do for love.
