As an up-and-coming actor, Brad Sinclair had everything going for him. Good looks, all the women loved him and he was making his next hit movie. Then Brad gets the shock of his life, a five year old child. It seems that when he was younger, he had an affair with one of his coworkers. She never told Brad that she was going to have his child. But she was killed in a car accident, so custody of Nicole falls on Brad.
Brad needs a nanny, and fast. Of course the best fit for him and Nicole has no interest in taking on this high profile client. Cara has rules: no Hollywood parents or single fathers. But once she meets Nicole and her father Brad, she knew she was going to work for them. Cara knows that there is no way she would ever get involved with Brad. But the sparks fly from the beginning.
CD Reiss does write a great book. I really enjoyed the way that she showed how the relationship between Brad and Nicole keeps getting better. The only thing that I really didn't feel belonged in the book was the sex between Brad and Cara. I just feel it could have been down played a little. I have to say I did skip some of this. I rather have more of Brad and Nicole and how they tried to have a relationship and involving Nicole in it.
I would recommend this book as it was good. I would like to see a sequel to this. How did Blakely make out in her new venture? What happened to Brad and Cara after they became a couple.
