LEOPARD'S FURY by Christine Feehan brings us Evangeline and Alonzo's story. Evangeline has made a life for herself. She knows just how bad life can be for her kind and she has stayed aware all her life. When Evangeline finds herself attracted to Alonzo she keeps herself in check and stays away from temptation. Only bad things can come from letting her emotions lead. Alonzo is all too aware of Evangeline yet he feels that she deserves better than him. Soon it does not matter how hard the two fight their feelings. Resisting your mate is hard enough but when danger enters the picture all bets are off. Can the two find a way to work through the past and the pain to find their happy ever after?

I really enjoyed this story. Evangeline is a strong woman and I liked how she held her own with Alonzo who is a strong alpha male yet finds it in his heart to work with Evangeline. The two make a good couple. Both are willing to work at their relationship and support one another. I really liked how strong Evangeline was even through it all she never stopped fighting for herself. Even though she was afraid she did not let that stop her from loving the man meant for her.

As the two find their way they must also deal with the danger that lurks in wait for them. The author does a wonderful job of bringing this world and the characters to life. There is a good mix of emotions and action in LEOPARD'S FURY. Both Evangeline and Alonzo have their own past and pain to work through before they can work towards a happy ever after. I enjoyed seeing the two find their way and fight for that happy ever after.

LEOPARD'S FURY is a great continuation of this series and I cannot wait to see what comes next for the leopards.
