DEADLY CHRISTMAS SECRETS is action packed form the beginning to the end. I absolutely loved Harper. Even though she has been a through endless hurt, questioned everything she believed in she still keeps her head held high. She is a character that you can easily identify with. Logan is everything that you want in a hero. He is strong, confident, sexy, and yet when it comes to Harper he is always gentle and kind. Both characters have traits that they admire in each other. They just have a hard time trusting what they are feeling. The other HEART members that come into the story add another great component to the main characters.

DEADLY CHRISTMAS SECRETS is the fourth book in Shirlee McCoy's Mission: Rescue series. I have not read any of the previous books in the series. There are characters in DEADLY CHRISTMAS SECRETS that I felt had been introduced in previous books, but I didn't feel like I was out of the loop on something. This book is very well written. It's a story with faith, love, hope, and a whole lot of mystery. I can't wait to see what is in store for the HEART organization and what new characters we will see.
