DEADLY CHRISTMAS SECRETS is action packed form the beginning
to the end. I absolutely loved Harper. Even though she has
been a through endless hurt, questioned everything she
believed in she still keeps her head held high. She is a
character that you can easily identify with. Logan is
everything that you want in a hero. He is strong, confident,
sexy, and yet when it comes to Harper he is always gentle and
kind. Both characters have traits that they admire in each
other. They just have a hard time trusting what they are
feeling. The other HEART members that come into the story add
another great component to the main characters.
DEADLY CHRISTMAS SECRETS is the fourth book in Shirlee
McCoy's Mission: Rescue series. I have not read
any of the previous books in the series. There are characters
in DEADLY CHRISTMAS SECRETS that I felt had been introduced
in previous books, but I didn't feel like I was out of the
loop on something. This book is very well written. It's a
story with faith, love, hope, and a whole lot of mystery. I
can't wait to see what is in store for the HEART
organization and what new characters we will see.
THE CHRISTMAS TARGET
When new evidence surfaces that Harper Shelby's niece is
possibly alive, Harper doesn't expect it to endanger her
life. For her protection, she has to put her much-guarded
trust in Logan Fitzgerald, the man who unknowingly led a
killer to her doorstep. Hired to track Harper down,
