TELL ME NO LIES by Magnolia Smith is the first book in The Black Orchid series and it definitely starts the series with a bang. With so many twists and turns, danger, suspense, and sizzling romance, this novel hooks the reader from the start and keeps you enthralled until the very end. Kael never wanted to leave Rain but worried about her safety and the fact that she may not want him if she knew the truth. Rain has  finally asserted her independence and is determined to be her own person, when Kael resurfaces - but can she trust someone who abandoned her so easily? TELL ME NO LIES by Magnolia Smith is an entertaining, exciting read and I look forward to the next instalment.
