Trevor Stark avoids relationships, any relationship, and not out of callousness. He must remain anonymous at all costs, and he has perfected the art of looking like a losing jerk. Paige Taylor is coming back to Texas to lick her wounds after a painful divorce. Her father Crush Taylor, the owner of the Kilby Catfish baseball team, asks her to be an intern while she gets herself up off the ground. She is professional and intends to stay away from the players. If only it weren't for this dratted attraction to Trevor that complicates everything, but whatever happens, Paige intends to find out what lurks behind the sexy bad boy's façade.

DRIVE YOU WILD is utter and sheer perfection! What joy it is when an author hits all the right notes with such ease! Jennifer Bernard has woven exceptional characters into a fabulous baseball story, along with a beautiful romance and quite a bit of suspense added to the mix, and makes it work like nobody's business. Trevor is a fascinating character, and I couldn't wait to know what made him tick. I loved how Ms. Bernard slowly builds up the romance, starting with a very believable mutual attraction; nothing is rushed and I was rooting for Trevor and Paige right from the start, because they're just so appealing, and Trevor's secret just broke my heart.

Jennifer Bernard's knowledge of the game, and all its little details, is legendary and makes for a terrific baseball story, but the romance is even more delightful, and I never expected that much suspense either. Whether from the games, the Catfish ownership that hangs in the balance, and most of all from needing to know why Trevor needed to hide in plain sight and how it would all work out. The writing is gorgeous and easy, the dialogues as genuine as can be, and the banter, whether between the ballplayers or Trevor and Paige is brilliant. The characters are to the last one exceptionally well- rounded, with fully detailed yet concise backstories; I just love that team! The first chapter is absolutely fantastic and had me glued to the page! I knew right then and there that I would love DRIVE YOU WILD, and to say the least, it did not disappoint! A fabulous, fabulous read!
