Romance Historical | Inspirational Romance

FROM THIS MOMENT is a historical romance that will warm your heart. Stella West is a lovely, feisty, talented illustrator. She is the toast of London. But, that changes when she receives the news of her sister Gwendolyn's mysterious death in Boston. She returns to Boston with one goal: Find out who killed her sister. Prior to her death Gwen wrote to Stella about discovering corruption in the government and shares details about working with an affluent, powerful man. She refers to him as A.G. The Boston Police are uncooperative, insisting it is an accidental death, and ignore Stella. Time for Stella to do some sleuthing to find out who killed her sister.

Boston, in 1897, Romulus White has just been commended for his help in getting news to the public about the important project happening there; the construction of the first subway system. Romulus is the owner of the SCIENTIFIC WORLD, a prestigious magazine, that he started with his two best friends. It is his whole world. His cousin, Evelyn, works behind the scenes and keeps the operations on target. Her estranged husband, Clyde Brixton, also helped launch the magazine. Their marriage ended when he worked on engineering projects far from home.

Romulus is handsome, dapper, a much sought after bachelor who tells everyone who listens he will not marry until he is 40 years old. There is a trail of ladies who tried unsuccessfully to convince him otherwise. He has been corresponding with Stella, dazzled by her artwork and wants her on board to make his prestigious magazine prosper. When they meet, they sizzle, and their banter is hilarious. Together they are soulmates and soon Romulus must rethink his marital plans. He is irresistible!

I loved the secondary romance between Evelyn and Clyde. When Clyde faces deafness because of an accident at the subway site, Evelyn faces their crisis in a moving and touching way. I cheered as they grew closer and their future together looked bright. What a sensational sequel their romance will be!

Historical romance is my favorite genre, and Ms. Camden did a sterling job in making this my FAVORITE read in awhile. How easily she weaves important historical facts into an engaging plot, with a Christian touch that appeals to me. I am a fan and will recommend FROM THIS MOMENT to everyone who loves a sweet romance (or two), while learning about an era filled with important happenings. Bravo! I loved it!

Award-Winning Historical Romance from a Noteworthy Talent Romulus White has tried for years to hire illustrator Stella West for his renowned scientific magazine. She is the missing piece he needs to propel his magazine to the forefront of the industry. But Stella abruptly quit the art world and moved to Boston with a single purpose: to solve the mysterious death of her beloved sister. Romulus, a man with connections to high society and every important power circle in the city, could be her most valuable ally. Sparks fly the instant Stella and Romulus join forces, and Romulus soon realizes the strong-willed and charismatic Stella could disrupt his hard-won independence.
