"May all women find their own Mister Orgasm!"

Fresh Fiction Review

Mister O

Nick Hammer is dedicated to bringing sexual fulfilment to women, he's very good at it, great really, and women love him. Nick is the brain, heart and soul behind the late night TV hit animation show The Adventures of Mister Orgasm. The handsome, cut, wealthy, charming Nick has come a long way from the pathetic nerd he once was: he also possesses the gift of the gab. However since an incident a few months before, he has been lusting after -- of all people -- his best friend Spencer's little sister: Harper Holiday. As if the torture couldn't get any worse, Harper comes to him for help. She is a hopeless geek, gorgeous but socially inept; she surmises he could coach her to help her nail a guy she really likes, and Nick seems the logical choice: they have been friends, albeit not close, for a number of years, and well, his reputation precedes him.

After having fallen head over heels in love with Lauren Blakely's dazzling Big Rock, the previous book, to say my expectations for MISTER O were sky-high would be the understatement of the year. In spite of a premise that seemed completely over the top -- "The Adventures of Mister Orgasm" is after all an adult cartoon where the hero basically saves the world by making women orgasm -- I just couldn't wait to read MISTER O. My verdict: bring on the next installments and stat! And believe it or not, there is absolutely nothing trashy about MISTER O; it's funny, sweet, sexy, young, and absolutely irresistible! We had met briefly Nick and Harper in book 1, and MISTER O is again written from Nick's point of view. I adored listening to him: he is an unexpectedly sweet man, a total gentleman, and Harper is everything I was hoping for, and I loved that she had a very unusual profession. Harper is completely oblivious to her charms and the effect she has on the opposite sex; she's just a darling and it was so easy to relate to her.

Ms. Blakely writes witty banter like no one, and MISTER O is no exception: whether between Nick and Harper, or Nick and his brother Wyatt, the dialogues are brilliant, easy and natural. The story flows beautifully, and put a smile on my face from the beginning. Ms. Blakely devised a very clever way for the shift in Harper and Nick's relationship, modern, credible, and fun. The sex scenes are deliciously steamy, playful, and after what might be the most delectable foreplay ever, when they finally did the deed, I was almost about to swoon!

MISTER O is a happy book, filled with engaging characters, laughs, friendship, Manhattan, but be forewarned: reading MISTER O in a public environment could be hazardous to your health. Now stop reading this review, and go read MISTER O right now!

SUMMARY

Just call me Mister O. Because YOUR pleasure is my super power. Making a woman feel 'oh-god-that's-good' is the name of the game, and if you can't get the job done, you should get the hell out of the bedroom. I'm talking toe-curling, mind-blowing, sheet-grabbing ecstasy. Like I provide every time. I suppose that makes me a superhero of pleasure, and my mission is to always deliver. Sure, I've got an addiction to giving, but step right up, and you'll also find a man with a hot exterior, a kickass job, a razor-sharp wit, and a heart of gold. Yeah, life is good... And then I'm thrown for a loop when a certain woman asks me to teach her everything about how to win a man. The only problem? She's my best friend's sister, but she's far too tempting to resist--especially when I learn that sweet, sexy Harper has a dirty mind too and wants to put it to good use. What could possibly go wrong as I give her some no-strings-attached lessons in seduction? No one will know, even if we send a few dirty sexts. Okay, a few hundred. Or if the zipper on her dress gets stuck. Not on that! Or if she gives me those f*&k-me-eyes on the train in front of her whole family. The trouble is the more nights I spend with her in bed, the more days I want to spend with her out of bed. And for the first time ever, I'm not only thinking about how to make a woman cry out in pleasure --I'm thinking about how to keep her in my arms for a long time to come. Looks like the real Adventures of Mister Orgasm have only just begun.... **MISTER O is a standalone romantic comedy and it follows supporting characters first introduced in BIG ROCK**
