KILL OR BE KILT is the third book in the fabulous Highland Spies series by Victoria Roberts. Although it can be read by itself I recommend reading the first two books in the series.
Lady Elizabeth Walsingham has been in love with the furious highlander Ian Monroe since she was fifteen years old. Now she is eighteen and finally realizing that Ian doesn't return her feelings by avoiding her for the past three years, she decides to control her love for Ian and go to London and start anew.
Laird Ian Monroe has been avoiding Elizabeth for the past three years but when he needs to travel to London to attend the court with his friends and Elizabeth, he discovers that Elizabeth has grown to a beautiful woman and no longer a child with a crush, so why he doesn't feel happy about it and jealous of her suitors.
Victoria Roberts has created another fun, delightful Scottish romance with an adorable fierce Highlander and a young beautiful stubborn heroine. The story line is engaging with danger and the mystery of murders in the court. I have been waiting to read Ian and Elizabeth romance since reading the first book and I must say Roberts did an excellent job.
There was so much fun to see three fierce highlanders chaperoning Lady Elizabeth in the English court while waiting to meet the King and how Ian was protecting her from dangers and suitors. I loved that Roberts brought the heroes and heroines from the two previous books into KILL OR BE KILT and they are the secondary characters makes the story more interesting and fun.
If you are looking for a wonderful and fun Scottish romance with brawny highlanders and strong heroines, you need to read KILL OR BE KILT and look for Victoria Roberts's other books.
It's been three years since Lady Elizabeth Walsingham ended her childish crush on Laird Ian Munro, the fierce Highlander who scared everyone but her. She's a grown woman now, heading to London to find a proper English gentleman. But when the wild Highland laird walks through the door, she's that breathless youth all over again. Ian tries hard to avoid the young lass who's confounded him for years. But now that they're attending court, he must keep watch on her night and day. Danger is at every turn and advisers to the Crown are being murdered. Ian soon realizes the girl he's been protecting is a beautiful lady who needs his help, almost as much as he needs her.
