POSSESSED BY PASSION is another great story by Brenda Jackson in the Forged of Steele Series. I love any book by Brenda Jackson because they always center around family. This is a story about two people striving to prove a point about who is in control.

Heart surgeon Tyson Steele and his five brothers are known as the "Bad News" Steele brothers. With handsome as sin looks and sexy green eyes, their reputation started back in high school, but in high school the one girl Tyson wanted turned him down and dumped him when he told her he was only after one thing. That has always stung because as a Steele he was always used to getting any girl he wanted. Now eighteen years later architect Hunter McKay has returned home after a brutal divorce. After being humiliated and betrayed she is working to re-establish her career and restart her life. While out with her girlfriends Hunter comes across Tyson and remembers the attraction from their high school days. Tyson remembers the attraction but also the sting of being dumped. He sets out to prove to Hunter that he can and will get what he wants.

It was fascinating watching Tyson and Hunter go at each other with their own ideas on how to control the direction things would go. Tyson feels he has a reputation to uphold— the "Bad News" Steeles always get any girl they want. Hunter lived through a humiliating, loveless marriage that almost destroyed her self esteem so she will never let anyone control her again. They will both learn what control, desire, and opening your heart can lead to.

Each of Brenda Jackson's characters always have their own individual story, but you still get to see the history of the family. The alpha males are strong and controlling but there is always one woman who will bring them down. If you like reading series about family relationships and the dynamics of each individual then I recommend any books by Brenda Jackson. You will not be disappointed.
