Court Gentry has been living on the run for years now. He
has
become famous for killing people who needed killing. He is
one
of the best, if not the best, assassins in the world, known
as
the Gray Man.
He is tired of running and now that he has found a way back
into America, he will find out why the government turned on
him. Court was
trained by the U.S. Government, who he worked for until he
was
betrayed and his own team sent to kill him. He killed all
of
them except one who escaped his wrath and is now helping to
hunt him.
What he discovers while trying to clear himself is a
conspiracy at the highest levels. He must get the truth out
there and save himself from the constant attack by killers.
He
will stop at nothing and they will soon find out why he is
called The Gray Man.
Court Gentry is one of the best written action, spy
thriller,
dark hero's out there. Definitely on par with character
like
Scott Harvath, Mitch Rapp, Jason Bourne, Jack Ryan and his
son. Ironically Mark
Greaney has taken over writing Jack
Ryan and Jack Ryan Jr. books for Tom Clancy; I'm glad he
took a break to get us caught up on Court and come to a
place
in the story fans have been waiting for.
If you are a fan of thrillers, then you need to read Mark
Greaney. You don't need to start with the first book THE
GRAY MAN, but you
should and keep reading until you get to
BACK BLAST. I cannot say enough about this series
and this character. I'd say he is surrounded by a great
group
of supporting characters, but the Gray Man doesn't need
help.
No one plans and executes a plan like he does. He leaves
nothing to chance and never stops. Let's just hope Mark
Greaney doesn't stop and keeps delivering Gray Man
books for
years to come.
