As they begin to investigate Bruce, nasty discoveries are uncovered. While attending Smyth College in Virginia, he is accused of raping female student, Andrea Morgan. Charges made, he received a "slap on the wrist," left school and immediately transferred to Maryland State University. There, he met and wooed Mia. Eli Morgan, the father of the victim, has held a grudge against Bruce. He has made threats by phone calls and e-mails, and make him the prime suspect to the police. When the police discover he traveled to Virginia the day before the wedding, he is arrested. When Bruce's body is pulled from the river not far from where the police found his abandoned car, Eli is charged with his murder. Case closed?

Susan O'Brien writes a cozy mystery with humor, a touch of romance, and a plot that zigs and zags to keep you guessing who done it? One of the characters is a Medium who gives Nicki a message from her cheating husband who died five years ago. Nicki is a modern-day Nancy Drew and a very likable character who by now is an expert pole dancer. Who could not fall in love with Dean who becomes the donor for Bruce's mother? Looking for a book that has all of these ingredients, look no further. My praise for SKY HIGH is sky high. You will love it.
