THE BILLIONAIRE TAKES A BRIDE is Book 3 in Jessica
Clare's Billionaires and Bridesmaids series. I think
readers who may be new to this series can still enjoy THE
BILLIONAIRE TAKES A BRIDE. However, reading BEAUTY AND THE BILLIONAIRE
first might be good for some context
since the wedding festivities that serve as a backdrop to
this series are for the couple from BEAUTY AND THE
BILLIONAIRE. I am a huge Jessica Clare fan and THE
BILLIONAIRE TAKES A BRIDE is an example of why.
THE BILLIONAIRE TAKES A BRIDE has my favorite type of
marriage of convenience -- one in which the two parties
actually like each other before tying the knot. Sebastian
Cabral and Chelsea Hall's first one-on-one meeting is
quirky, charming and sets the tone for their
unconventional romance. Although the reason for them
marrying in haste is a little convoluted, the friendship
and eventual romance between Sebastian and Chelsea is
sexy and sweet. I love how Chelsea supports Sebastian
when he has to deal with his whacky reality TV-obsessed
family, and he helps her with her trust issues.
I like that THE BILLIONAIRE TAKES A BRIDE is told from
two perspectives. Both characters are very likable yet
complex. I love this Billionaires and Bridesmaids
series, but THE BILLIONAIRE TAKES A BRIDE is my favorite
so far. Sebastian is the ideal sexy yet sensitive hero
who adores the heroine and falls for her fast. I like
that he respects Chelsea, likes her personality and
encourages her. The gradual way their feelings for each
other build, make their happy ending more powerful and
satisfying to read about. I love how Sebastian fights for
Chelsea and acts as protector.
THE BILLIONAIRE TAKES A BRIDE is delightfully racy and
entertaining from beginning to end. Sebastian and Chelsea
are a perfect match and their love story abounds with
tender moments and wildly erotic ones. Chelsea is an
interesting combination of vulnerability and strength.
THE BILLIONAIRE TAKES A BRIDE is a must-read for
contemporary romance fans. I eagerly await the next book
by Jessica Clare.
