In CHASING TOMORROW, Tracy and Jeff thought they had finally left their old lives as thieves behind. They were the best in the world. They'd go in and out of places stealing and leaving with the best of the loot. Jeff gets a job in a museum, Tracy stays home waiting to have a baby.
While Jeff is gone everyday, Tracy is at home pacing. She feels the need to steal again and chooses to hit the museum where Jeff works. Jeff is beside himself when he finds out what she did. While this is going on, Jeff's assistant decides she wants more. One thing leads to another and Tracy catches them in bed together.
Tracy has had enough and disappears. Years later, she is in the US and pregnant. Of course, Jeff knows nothing about it. Tracy is bound and determined not to go back to her old life. However, in a strange turn of events, there are more break-ins, not only robberies, but murders that happen right after.
For some odd reason, Tracy is the prime suspect. As much as she doesn't want back into her old life, she must come out of hiding to help Jeff.
Sidney Sheldon is one of my favorite authors. Now that Tilly Bagshawe has taken over his writing, she is just as great as he was. I love the mystery and suspense that Tilly weaves in this novel. I was amazed how great this book is.
If you enjoy Sidney Sheldon, you will love this book. I also enjoyed Tilly Bagshawe's descriptions of the characters and the scenes. This book will keep you guessing though the whole book.
