A WIFE IN EVERY SENSE is part of Entangled's Europe's Hottest Billionaires series. I like Joanne Walsh's handling of the "romance with the boss" and "marriage of convenience" tropes. This story is a little different from similarly themed stories I've read because, in this one, it's the woman who is slow to trust the man. Most of the other romance stories I've read with a powerful man and a marriage of convenience have a man who is often quick to doubt the woman. Kate seems very real to me because Joanne Walsh makes her a strong yet flawed character.

I love marriage of convenience themed stories and A WIFE IN EVERY SENSE did not disappoint. Having the story told from both perspectives gives the reader extra insight into the two main characters. Although they come from different backgrounds, Kate and Aleksei have both been burned by an ex. Kate was left humiliated by a man she thought she cared for in the past. Aleksei's sincerity about wanting a family and wanting a more stable one than he grew up with made me like him more. I like that although Kate and Aleksei both clash at times, they never go too far and say things that can't be taken back. The tender moments balance the ones that sizzle. The exotic locale of a Greek island adds to the drama and beauty of the romance. In a way, the island becomes another character, especially in relation to Aleksei and his family.

A WIFE IN EVERY SENSE is sexy, fun and full of raw emotion. The hero and heroine are both sympathetic and make a good match. Alexsei's toxic step-mother and a stalker spice things up with a little conflict without cluttering up the romance. I look forward to reading more by Joanne Walsh, as well as the next book in this Europe's Hottest Billionaires series. I would love to see what happens to Kate's friend, Lydia.
