years, but when her mother tells her to go back, she does. Annie's life has
been up and down, but going home is going to be her

As teens, Theo and Annie had been a little more than friends. Annie is not

Annie is in the cottage. Theo doesn't really want her
there. Annie feels that Theo is a psycho because of the
best-selling novel he has written. Their lives collide
like you wouldn't believe.
I have always loved Susan Elizabeth Phillips novels. While
this one is not really one of my favorites, it is still very
good. The feelings between the two main characters is
very confusing in parts. They were friends as
teenagers, but not so much as adults. Susan tells the backstory as to why
these two good friends are now at odds with
each other. I also felt that in some parts, HEROES ARE MY WEAKNESS is kind of
slow reading, and I did lose my attention to the story line.
