Lizzie Pepper is a movie star in her own right. However, she is not as big a star as Rob Mars. While Lizzie has had a lead in a very popular TV show, Rob is big in action movies.
When they meet, the flames rise. Lizzie and Rob have a whirlwind romance. While her best friend, Aurora, feels the gossip about Rob being gay is true, Lizzie doesn't believe it. The only thing that bothers Lizzie is that Rob has a secret room in his house. Rob also belongs to One Cell Studios. Rob finally explains that they teach people how to become better actors. Lizzie joins and does find some peace with this company.
Lizzie and Rob are finally engaged and the public goes nuts. She learns she is going to have twins. They decide to wait to get married until after the twins are born. Once the twin boys are born and they getting older, Lizzie notices that Rob is teaching the boys things she doesn't quite agree with. Aurora tried to convince Lizzie that something just was not right about One Cell.
Hilary Liftin's book is very interesting. I am not sure if anyone else who reads MOVIE STAR BY LIZZIE PEPPER will put the connection together like I did. I am not certain this is loosely based on Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, but it sure sounds like it. With that being said, I was very into this story line. I guess like everyone else I have a fixation on celebrities.
Great book! I did see in the local paper that MOVIE STAR BY LIZZIE PEPPER is the book of the summer. MOVIE STAR BY LIZZIE PEPPER was also mentioned on the Today Show, again being a great read for the summer. I couldn't agree more. I loved it!
