Romance | New Adult

In the blink of an eye, any one's life can change. In FIX YOU, Kelly had a great life, a husband she loved with all her heart and two great kids. Everything changes when her husband Peter dies. Kelly is beyond sad. After two months after Peter's death, she still doesn't know what to do. Kelly spends a lot of time in bed, only getting up to take care of the kids.

Kelly's parents are very worried about her so they have her come out to spend some time with them. Kelly always was a jogger so she starts to run again. On one of her runs, she meets a stranger who stops to see if she is ok.

Kelly has no idea that Andy is a movie star. They form a friendship. After she returns to her hometown, they stay in touch. Kelly gets a phone call from Andy that he is at the airport near her home. After spending a great weekend with Kelly and her kids, the romance part kicks in.

Kelly is a small town girl and not use to all the attention that Andy gets. A secret is also revealed and Kelly doesn't know if she can go though this again. Not only is Andy's secret hard to deal with but it brings back some not so great memories of Peter. Can these two fix each other?

I wouldn't want to be in Kelly's place. Beck Anderson writes a story that is romantic and extremely sad. This combination made me wonder if I would be able to give up part of my life to be with a movie star. Beck Anderson shows that two opposites can attract and the interaction between these two is something any one can dream about.

Beck Anderson should write a sequel to this story. I would love to see if these two have moved on with their life together. I feel it would be very interesting.

SUMMARY

In this modern-day Cinderella story with a charming twist, a young widow with two rambunctious sons falls for a gorgeous movie star. But can she handle life in the limelight?

When Kelly Reynolds’s husband died two years ago, he left her to raise their two young boys. She’s barely pieced herself back together and takes refuge in her routine, running her kids around town and running the trails near their Idaho home.

A chance encounter on a trail run brings famous actor Andy Pettigrew into her life. He’s clearly interested in her, but Kelly hates risk, and a love affair with Andrew is certainly tempting fate. She doesn’t fit into his Hollywood world. She doesn’t own a pair of Louboutins, and she couldn’t walk five steps in them if she did. Andrew oozes cool. She reeks of dork.

Despite this, they click. But Andrew struggles with the pressures of his fame, and Kelly’s hold on a so-called normal life is already tenuous. So as much as she wants to indulge the fantasy, she doesn’t know how either of them is supposed to cope with stalkerazzi and tweet-happy fans with camera phones. Especially when she and Andrew both have secrets that seem impossible to keep…
