I really enjoyed THE BLUE ROSE, it's a quick paced, exciting romance. I will admit it took me a little longer to start this book than it should have, I was afraid of a standard romance plot poor girl, rich guy, etc. But to my pleasant surprise when I picked it up I did not want to put it down. A.M. Helen added in a plot twist that made THE BLUE ROSE very difficult to put down. Then to my shock and sadness ends the book on a cliffhanger and now I have to wait for the next book.
There are times in THE BLUE ROSE where I caught myself yelling at Melissa and Alexander both. Melissa especially, but I find n it great that a book can draw me in enough to make me yell at characters. I am looking forward to the next book in this series so I hope A.M. Helen is busy writing, because I'm waiting.
