Julian is a retired military ace pilot, who isn\'t so
retired. He has spent the years after his retirement
piloting his own cargo ship ... the Matilda. And waiting. His
whole family was destroyed and he plans to do the same to
the man who gave the orders... the Jit\'Suku emperor. How would
he know that one little woman who makes him feel like the
KING OF STARS just might change the direction of his life?
Star Senna is from a family of seers and she has foreseen
that she is to travel with Julian and either survive or not
to bring peace between the humans and Jit\'Suku empire. And
she\'s not beyond a little blackmail to get her way.
KING OF STARS has a number of twists and turns that leads
readers to a completely surprise ending. Well the romance
and hot sex are not surprising they are totally author
Bianca D\'Arc\'s amazing style. Star is spunky, and it seemed
to me, a mixture of confident and apprehensive, she has set
her plan in motion and must follow that path. Julian is in
for a number of shocks starting with finding that the heart
he thought had died with his family was very much alive and
beating. His biggest surprise is the truth about his family...
but of course you will have to read KING OF STARS to find
out what that truth is. Ms. D\'Arc brings sci-fi worlds to
life in such a way that you not only believe they exist but
you want to go there. I want to find the Madhatter Station
and have a beer at The Rabbit Hole with the bartender Chip
and have my future read by Star\'s cousin Lila. Okay ... not
possible so I guess I will put KING OF STARS in my TRA shelf
and hope for more from one of my favorite authors.
