"Is seeing truly believing?"

Fresh Fiction Review

The Ice Twins

Thriller Psychological

THE ICE TWINS will leave you shocked at the end and wondering through the whole novel what to believe and what not to believe. With so many twists, you'll wonder if you are going crazy yourself. This novel is amazing!!! I found myself wondering what was really true but then in the next chapter the author, S.K. Tremayne takes you on another turn with the storyline leaving you to believe something else. What an art to give a story so many possibilities without losing the reader during the ride.

Angus and Sarah Moorcroft had everything with a set of twin girls, Kirstie and Lydia who were a blessing in every way. Then one day a horrible accident takes one of them away. A year later it seems the death of their precious daughter, Lydia stills haunt them as they move to a Scottish island that Angus inherited from his grandmother. This happens as Kirstie claims to be Lydia and that they have her identity all wrong. This now leaves the Moorcrofts to wonder if they really knew what each of them thought that they knew all along. After unexplainable events and strange behavior from their one remaining daughter, will the Moorcrofts be able to ever live in peace and come to some satisfied belief?

Oh how I love a suspense and THE ICE TWINS BY S.K. Tremayne is surely a suspense that will leave you terrified to turn off the lights. With its mind blowing ending that you will never see coming, it will leave you wondering, "did that just happen?" Tremayne keeps you guessing every so many chapters. Just when you think you know what really happened, you will be rethinking what you just read.

Novels like THE ICE TWINS are the best because they keep you intrigued by the storyline. This novel is easy to follow, never once did I feel it was confusing. THE ICE TWINS is exceptional with such a twisting storyline that doesn't stop until the end.

SUMMARY

In the tradition of The Girl on the Train comes the UK bestseller THE ICE TWINS, a terrifying psychological thriller with a twisting plot worthy of Gillian Flynn.

One of Sarah's daughters died. But can she be sure which one?

A year after one of their identical twin daughters, Lydia, dies in an accident, Angus and Sarah Moorcroft move to the tiny Scottish island Angus inherited from his grandmother, hoping to put together the pieces of their shattered lives.

But when their surviving daughter, Kirstie, claims they have mistaken her identity--that she, in fact, is Lydia--their world comes crashing down once again.

As winter encroaches, Angus is forced to travel away from the island for work, Sarah is feeling isolated, and Kirstie (or is it Lydia?) is growing more disturbed. When a violent storm leaves Sarah and her daughter stranded, they are forced to confront what really happened on that fateful day.
