Make sure what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas....
LAS VEGAS INSIDER'S GUIDE purports to cover all the entertainment in Las Vegas, from the shows and museums to the bars, clubs, and brothels. Instead, it's more of a guide on how to avoid law enforcement entanglement in Las Vegas. From providing numbers on human sex trafficking to defining the age of consent, the LAS VEGAS INSIDER'S GUIDE provides readers with the laws (and links to more information) that govern Las Vegas. The tips about driving in Las Vegas are interesting and have made me more than a little nervous about renting a car in Vegas for our upcoming trip.
LAS VEGAS INSIDER'S GUIDE is not your typical travel guide. Edgier forms of entertainment compose a great deal of the book, as I learned far more than I wanted to know about exotic entertainment, drugs, and guns in Vegas. Little did I realize that some people go to Las Vegas with the dream of shooting guns that are illegal in other places. In fact, the primary focus of LAS VEGAS INSIDER'S GUIDE seems to be how one can enjoy the adult entertainment in Las Vegas without getting arrested.
Titus Nelson provides a plethora of links to information at the end of LAS VEGAS INSIDER'S GUIDE. I did find the brief mention of a couple museums worthwhile and the links gave me additional information on the museums we may want to visit. Overall, however, LAS VEGAS INSIDER'S GUIDE probably works better in the eBook format than in print as Titus Nelson only gives readers a smidgen of information before referencing the links for additional information. If you are looking for a book that provides you with insight into the laws and rules that govern Las Vegas, then the LAS VEGAS INSIDER'S GUIDE is for you.
