BOOTS AND THE BACHELOR is Book nine in the Ugly Stick
Saloon series.
Rescuing the family ranch from bankruptcy has keep Angus
McFarlan and his brother too busy to date and start a
family. Their mom wants to know if there are no children
to inherit the ranch, then what's the point of all the
hard
to save it. So she gives her sons an ultimatum that they
find wives and start a family or she will sell the ranch.
She enters Angus in the annual Ugly Stick Saloon cowboy
auction.
Angus has no desire to stand up there half-naked while
women bid on him, but if he wants to keep the ranch what
choice does he have.
CEO Gwendolyn Graves is busy establishing her business so
she does not have time for a relationship. But what she
does need is a male role model for her son Dalton. She
bids and wins 4 dates with Angus. Angus accepts her bids
to spend time with Dalton and teach him things only if she
agrees to spend some alone time with him.
BOOTS AND BACHELORS can be read as a standalone. But if
you enjoy
this one I suggest you read the others. Some of the
characters in this book have books of their own.
Ugly Stick Saloon is a very entertaining series.
Some of the antics of
the cowboys and their partners are hilarious.
While Angus teaches Dalton how to be a man, he and Gwen
discover that time together years before meant more than
they knew. And just when they began to start flourishing
as a family, Dalton's father shows up and brings all sorts
of trouble with him. Angus has finally found his family
and has no intentions of losing it.
Myla Jackson is a terrific writer who knows how to
entertain! Can't wait to see what her next book will be
about. I know I will enjoy it.
