ON THE RUN is an amazing, fast paced, suspense-filled
read.
It starts out a little differently; giving a hint of the
ending then it goes back to five weeks earlier where we
get
to meet Tonio and Angel. I have to admit that the prologue
did take a bit of the spark out of the suspense for me,
but
it also made me wonder how he got where he was so no real
damage. Tonio and Angel's attraction is immediate with a
lot of wild and steamy moments as well as tender ones. The
bad guy is really bad and everything he deals with is dark
and gritty and I couldn't figure out how Angel, who
underneath it all is a sweetheart, could be related to
him. Author Jo Davis continues her Sugarland Blues
series
with ON THE RUN and manages to keep the action fresh, the
characters down-to-earth with the camaraderie among the
Blues team very evident and stronger than ever. Good read
Ms. Davis, keep them coming.
