Rio Waya is a mixed blood, Native American wolf shifter. Having been basically abandoned by his teenage mother and having an absentee father Rio is the PORTRAIT OF A LONE WOLF. That might be true but this loner is ready for more, he comes home to the Black Hills and wants a mate of his own.
Sela Lopez is pulling her life back together after dealing with a cheating ex. She's a documentary filmmaker and wildlife photographer. She arrives in the Black Hills with plans to rent a cabin and film the wolf population in the area. She has no idea that there is all kinds of trouble coming her way.
Sparks fly when Rio and Sela meet (it is his cabin she is renting). She is intrigued by this mysterious man but she is also worried when he is seemingly over anxious about her documenting the area wolves. When she learns his secret her trust is blown all to hell ... and Rio has his hands full with soothing her fears and winning the lady's heart.
PORTRAIT OF A LONE WOLF is simply a fascinating read. Author Katalina Leon's characters are wonderfully flawed, with just the right touches of insecurity and toughness that can't fail to pull readers in. I loved Rio and Sela seemed to fit him perfectly. This book is written in such a well descriptive fashion that a reader will feel as if they are in the Black Hills themselves right along with the action. PORTRAIT OF A LONE WOLF might be only 91 pages but it is packed full of fun, plenty of deep emotions and some very good, very steamy moments. This is book seven of the Black Hills Wolves which includes other authors and is one of my favorite series. Can't wait to get my hands on more from Ms. Leon.

coming.
Sparks fly as mutual fears and vulnerabilities surface
when
Sela and Rio meet. She canβt figure out why the mysterious
