VIRGIN'S NIGHT OUT by Shiloh Walker is a quick stand-alone read. This book is listed as 213 pages, but there is a bonus novella Tempt Me included, so VIRGIN'S NIGHT OUT clocks in at 106 pages. Due to the short format, the story is compressed, but there is plenty of punch packed into this little package.

Sloane Redding is a shy and timid woman. She was jilted at the alter six months ago in Nowhere, Alabama and fled in ignominy to the big city. She reinvented herself on the outside, but is still a quiet mouse in the outside. Now she's back in Nowhere for the wedding of her brother Tyler, and determined to be the new improved her and show her ex what he missed out on. She shows up to the local bar in a flamin' hot red dress and meets a guy who defends her after she punches her ex. She loses her virginity in a night of unbridled passion in this nameless man's arms.

D.B. "Boone" Cassidy shows up to a local bar to get wasted before attending his best friend's wedding. Boone has been best friends with twin brothers Pierce and Taylor Redding, all three of whom had worked for DDX Security Specialists. Pierce was killed on a mission, and Taylor quit soon after and is now getting married. When Boone shows up for the wedding, he discovers the virgin he deflowered the night before in an extended bout of amazing sex happens to be Pierce and Taylor's little sister (oops!).

In addition to the virginity trope and best friend's little sister trope, this book also has several other crazy over- the-top romance tropes, which I won't discuss, because it will ruin the myriad of surprises in store for you. Needless to say that there is a lot of drama packed in these pages. There is not only the ultra-hot sex that I've come to depend on Walker for, but also some heartbreak and some dark tortured aspects that surprise me in a romance novella, in a good way. VIRGIN'S NIGH OUT is an enjoyable quick read, proving that Walker remains an auto-buy author for me.
