PREGNANT BY THE SHEIKH is Book three in the

Black Castle series by Olivia Gates. I love the sexy
and
intense heroes created by Olivia Gates, but her sheikhs
are
by far my absolute favorite. Like with previous books, the
hero and heroine's first meeting is very romantic -- with
a
magnetic, darkly handsome sheikh rescuing a princess from
an unwanted marriage. The fact that they are instantly
drawn to each other only adds to the romance of the
situation.
I'm glad that, although Numair always planned on revenge,
Jenan was never an intended victim of that revenge plot.
Like many other heroes written by Olivia Gates, Numair is
extremely protective of Jenan while still respecting her
intelligence and independence at the same time. It's
sometimes difficult to find a hero who can walk the
delicate balance between alpha male and passionate lover
who is always sensitive to a woman's needs -- but Olivia
Gates pulls it off with Sheikh Numair Al Aswad. Their
romance is all-consuming and intense.
The political and family connections in PREGNANT BY THE
SHEIKH can be confusing at times, but the focus of the
story is always the relationship between Jenan and Numair.
Although Jenan is an intelligent woman and goes into her
relationship with Numair trying to maintain a pragmatic
attitude, I think she becomes seduced by the fantasy of
finding everything she's secretly ever wanted with him. He
gets under her skin and feeds her dreams. I was happy that
the conflict between them is not something that goes on
for
the entire length of the book.
PREGNANT BY THE SHEIKH is the perfect desert fantasy with
a
to die for hero. Olivia Gates peppers PREGNANT BY THE
SHEIKH with her trademark highly romantic and swoon-worthy
dialogue. I look forward to seeing if Jenan's sisters each
get a book in the future. I eagerly await the next
installment in this exciting and very erotic series by
Olivia Gates.
