Romance Contemporary

Annabelle wanted nothing more in her life than to be a dancer. Life gives you some unexpected shocks. Annabelle's sister and her husband were killed in a crash, and she hasto go back to her home town of Lonesome Way to take care of her nieces and nephew. Wes also was born in Lonesome Way. He left town when he was just 18 and just couldn't take his father anymore. Wes worked his way though college and than got a job with the DEA. After almost twenty years, he is on his way back to his home town. Annabelle had a bad reputation during her teen years. Annabelle knew Wes back then, but they were just friends. Now that they are both back in their home town, as much as they try to stay away from each other, the sparks are too much to ignore. Jill Gregory writes a very sweet story. Two main characters who lives have given them second chance at love. SUNFLOWER LANE will touch your heart strings. I have lost two sisters, I have done my best to try and help my nieces and nephews so I felt like I could totally understand Annabelle and her feelings Jill Gregory lets you know that you can never replace a parent, but you can give it your best try. The storyline is great.Hopefully the next one in this series will continue with not only new characters, but also will update the reader on these two characters.

SUMMARY

A heartwarming new novel by New York Times bestselling author Jill Gregory about taking a chance on passion, trust, love—and finally healing the past . . . For Annabelle Harper, summer in her hometown of Lonesome Way, Montana, means a chance to make a home for her orphaned young nieces and nephew. It’s also a chance to find a new direction for her life—one that doesn’t include romance. So when rugged Wes McPhee shows up back in town, she has every reason to keep him at a distance. Even unhappy memories can’t keep Wes from returning to Lonesome Way to help his grandmother recover from an injury. And his fear of commitment isn’t enough to make him resist the tantalizing heat that he feels whenever he’s near Annabelle. But can a wandering man like Wes ever settle down? When an old enemy comes to Lonesome Way, and their dreams of love are threatened, Wes and Annabelle must fight for the future their hearts have always wanted.
