In this latest book of the GhostWalkers series readers are treated to Wyatt and Pepper's story. VIPER GAME by Christine Feehan keeps readers entranced in this series and I was glad to see that the author continues to keep the storyline fresh yet she keeps the familiarity at the same time.

So much happens to Wyatt and Pepper in their lives and they deserve a happy ever after. I loved watching these two characters find love. The villains continue to get nastier and the heroes must fight with all that they have. With life and love on the line Wyatt and Pepper fight as only they know how. Making VIPER GAME an engaging read.

I enjoyed the new twist to this story. Pepper's enhanced abilities are different to say the least. The children that she is so protective about bring an interesting twist to the story. Pepper is a strong woman but she does come with some insecurities and worries. It was nice to see her working through some of them with the help of Wyatt and their love.

Wyatt is a good man and even though so much has changed for him in the last years he still has a bond with his friends and family. When his Grandmother calls he comes to the Bayou as fast as he can. I enjoyed seeing this softer side of Wyatt that he shows to his family and friends.

Christine Feehan weaves a great story that is full of emotions and danger around every corner. I was pulled right into VIPER GAME while seeing the two try to work through so much as they try to protect the children. I have been reading this series from the very beginning and am eagerly waiting to see what new ideas and adventures that this author has for this world and its characters.
