Keelie Jessup is a tattoo artist who has had her heart set on the man of her dreams only to lose him to an old flame. No big deal except he's her business partner, Zach, and she kissed him, even knowing where his heart lay. Now if that little secret came out she would surely be RAZED about it.
Zane Barnes has been trying to get Keelie's attention for years. Finally at his brothers wedding he gets a taste of what he wants and nothing is going to stop him. Not Keelie's stubbornness, not the fact that he lives elsewhere and certainly not whatever secrets she is hiding. Everyone has secrets... it's just learning to deal with them or perhaps go back and fix whatever you can. But Zach is determined that she never be alone again.
RAZED is fascinating. It is a combination life story and love story with a lot of truths as well as a fair amount of steamy moments. Opposites do attract because picturing Zane, the tall, gorgeous, godlike guy and the tattooed, punk girl, who would guess they would be perfect for one another. Apparently author Shiloh Walker knows a thing or two about mix and match to make perfect as these two do fit together. I also loved the family ... the Barnes family not hers ... they are fighting each other, ribbing each other, worrying for each other and the moment it is needed ... there for each other. Keelie's past, as well as things that Zane admits too, is heartbreaking and it was good to see that she was able to step up and do something she felt she had to do. There are a few more Barnes brothers so I am hoping Ms. Walker brings us more along this line to enjoy.
