UNDONE is Shannon Richard's breakout book with a story designed to rein you in. Her characters have sass, are sexy and just plain appeal. It's always difficult to predict how an authors first novel will go - will it pass inspection - will it drive in sales - most important will it make the reader want more.
The answer to of those is yes - yes - yes.
If you haven't had the opportunity to tune in to this wonderful young witty author UNDONE is a great place to start. Shannon Richard is now on her fifth in this series about friends and lovers in a small town in Florida.
I truly believe each of this series can stand on it's own merit and so they don't necessarily have to be read in any order - but then again I would be remiss is suggesting that you miss any.
The friendships and the link between these wonderful characters is richly rewarding and perhaps even a bit enviable.
I knew I would like Richard's after a quick visit to her website where she gives Sara Bareilles credit for a story line idea.. And then Richard's puts in the link to Bareilles singing the song that sparked her imagination.
Definitely brought a smile to my face - as does any of Shannon Richard's stories.
