Delaney and her family are all on the reality show Pop Rocks. Delaney father is an old rocker and her mom was a former model. Delaney is not like the rest of her family, she really doesn't want to be on this show. Several years before, Delaney and her old boyfriend Boyd made a sex tape. Now that she is famous, Boyd is trying to cash in. Delaney can't stand all the publicity, so she decides to disappear until it blows over.

Grant is from Bell Harbor, he has not been back to his home town in years. Grant receives a wedding invitation from his younger brother Scott. Hating the way his job has turned out, he up and quits and heads home. Little did he know that his mom has rented out his house to Elaine, or should we say Delaney?

When these two meet, it is not the best circumstances. They decide to stay in the same house at least for the time being. Elaine is not about to let Grant in on her little secret. When Grant's mom Donna steals all of Elaine's money, Grant wants to call the cops, Elaine not so much. She knows that her secret will come out.

Tracy Brogan writes a pretty funny book. I found at times that I was laughing at some of the antics that Elaine uses to keep her secret from everyone. Brogan also shows how family sticks together no matter what problems they face. The writing makes me think about some of the problems that my family has and how we stick together no matter what.

LOVE ME SWEET is a great read. This is the second book that I have read by Tracy Brogan, I loved this one as much as the one before. When I read Tracy Brogan it let me get away from all my problems. Pick up LOVE ME SWEET and get away from the real world for a bit.
