A homeless man is found dead from an apparent suicide and
Charlie Parker is asked to look into it. A series of
events
leads Charlie to believe that there is a lot more involved

Though this is book twelve in the Charlie Parker

is easily read as a standalone. I love this character and
book. I have not read any of the other in the series and
now wish I had. THE WOLF IN WINTER speaks of a religion
from the old world that is brought over to America and the
town of people that follow it.
Charlie Parker works with a great group of good and bad
guys
that you can't help but love. Even his nemesis from other
books is elegantly woven into this book and flows with the
current story line. If you haven't read any Charlie
