CAPTIVATED BY YOU, the fourth installment in the Crossfire series takes on the ultimate enigma, Gideon Cross. Readers will be ecstatic to get an insider's look into Gideon's mind, feeling both his desires but also his insecurities concerning his wife, Eva. Their recent marriage hasn't entirely cleared up all their problems, especially as a person from Eva's past returns and threatens their relationship.

Sylvia Day doesn't waste any time submerging readers into the drama of family and friends as they meddle in Gideon and Eva's lives. Following the same vein of the previous books in the series, Day remains within her comfortable space as she explores their inner wordings of Gideon's mind. While easily the best part of this book, I was hoping that in getting the hero's POV, readers would get a new or possibly different experience. But Day's style remains largely the same with a strong emphasis on emotion and insecurity.

CAPTIVATED BY YOU captures the essence of the series and builds on that until readers are submerged into the sensual world that author Sylvia Day has created.
