The Last Chance Ranch is busy in the week before
Christmas.
The matriarch Sarah is about to turn seventy, and plans
for
her birthday include an elaborate tooled saddle secretly
purchased to order by the family. The saddlemaker Ben
Radcliffe comes to deliver the goods and gets interested
in

professor finds someone outside her faculty to enjoy time
with, and the saddler finds that she's just waiting to be
awakened as a sexy lady. Ben has issues, though, which
have
convinced him that he's not destined to be a husband and
father. Is there such a thing as the right relationship
for
the two of them?
Forget that it's cold outside, the bedroom is definitely
steaming hot - what I like is that the story is about
making love, not about casual sex. Getting snowbound seems
more than desirable. Vicki Lewis Thompson has created very
genuine characters and their modern dilemmas, with
intimate
details and warm feelings to make us love them. A LAST
CHANCE CHRISTMAS will by enjoyed by all her fans and will
lure new readers into tracking down the rest of her books.
