Thriller

Victor lives his life as if there will be no tomorrow, for the business he is in calls for it. Victor's old friend who had betrayed him, Norimov a Russian gangster pleads with Victor for his help in keeping his daughter safe from being killed. First, Victor must find Norimov's daughter who is missing, for she's angry with her step father for being in such a criminal business. Gisele, his daughter had been last seen in London and now it's up to Victor to find her. He does not do this job for her father Norimov, but for Gisele's, dead mother whom he was very fond of. Before Victor even locates Gisele, he's aware that other's are following him. He's aware of every sound, every movement that might put his life in jepordy and on this assignment he's not out to kill someone, he's there to protect, something Victor is not used to in his line of work. Before Gisele went into hiding, she took a very valued secret with her and many will kill her first, then ask questions later. When Victor finds Gisele, they both find themselves running for their lives. Oh, Victor truly knows how to fight for his life, but he is the protector now and finding there may be no where they can run to live another day. Will Victor find a way out for both him and Gisele to live another day, or will this be the end for both of them? NO TOMORROW by Tom Wood drew me in from page one as Mr. Wood is an author one does not want to miss!

SUMMARY

Victor the assassin returns in the new novel from the author of The Killer, The Enemy, and The Game... THE JOB IS SIMPLE When Victor is called to meet with an old friend who ultimately betrayed him, what he thought was an ambush is in fact a plea for help. As a Russian gangster, Norimov is accustomed to death threats, but now an unknown enemy wants more than his life. They intend to kill everyone he cares about, including his missing daughter Gisele. This time, Victor’s job is not to kill but to protect. Unfortunately, locating Gisele is his first mistake—because someone is watching his every move. ESCAPE IS IMPOSSIBLE Before she went into hiding, Gisele had uncovered a secret worth killing for—and now Victor has brought the enemy right to her doorstep. The least he can do is help her escape. But the ruthless network they’re up against has the police, MI5, and every major news outlet joining in the manhunt across London.
