In 'TIL DRAGONS DO US PART, Savannah Cavenaugh is a dragonmorph, she can literally change into a dragon at any time. It makes her the perfect art thief, because who would ever think to look up, when a theft occurs. Her partner Simon has another job for her ... steal a priceless painting right out from under the nose or snout of Lord Relobu, North America's fierce dragon leader.
It couldn't be more perfect, she just needs to find a way inside, because the mansion is the site of the most anticipated wedding in the world. A dragon and human are about to marry. If only the unexpected slap to her heart didn't affect her head.
Cameron Shaw is the interim security head for Lord Relobu. It's his last chance to prove himself and if it means he will have to keep an eye on the wedding planners very pretty assistant ... he's okay with that. He just cannot take the chance of losing this job, no matter how sexy the reason.
The last thing in the world Savannah needs is such a hot distraction, because rumor has it that her archrival Prometheus is also after the painting and she is not about to let him win. Things just have a way of going crazy just when you need calm.
'TIL DRAGONS DO US PART is a funny, action filled new world where dragons rule for readers to explore. I was intrigued by Savannah, especially when she believed she was the only one of her kind. The side characters to this book which included Savannah's partner, his wife and their little girl, added the right amount of lightness and funny sides to the story, but also showed the caring side to our thief.
Cameron was of course the sexy human that just couldn't keep away from Savannah, which is exactly what readers are looking for. It was interesting to see that not only was the theft planning a part of this storyline but there was also the threat by those who didn't want the marriage to take place that had to be dealt with. As if wedding plans aren't enough chaos, that added more. I enjoyed this book, because who doesn't love a good (or bad) dragon.
I can't wait to see what author Lorenda Christensen brings us next.
