Nicky is a widower, who loves his job as leader of CFA. He has known love and hurt with loss and knows about high- stakes danger. He never planned to get Astrid involved with anything but accounting but with the Russian conglomerate codenamed Firebird challenging him and his team he might have no choice.

When Astrid finds that Firebird's dirty money can be traced to a fetish conference she knows that she needs to go there. She has no idea that Nicky knows a lot about ropes or that she herself has a taste for his ways and him. For his part, he finds that Astrid's sweet eccentricities have revitalized his very soul. But the passion aside, they must survive and evade traps more elaborate then any knots that BIND them.

BIND is book three of author Katie Porter's Command Force Alpha series and it just gets better. After reading the other books you would not expect our favorite stuffy Colonel to be quite this masterful. Astrid is a numbers genius but when the time came, she proved herself as brave and willing to do what was necessary to beat the bad guys. I'm not really into bondage but it seemed to fit perfectly for these two. I enjoy everything I have read by Ms. Porter and look forward to more Command Force Alpha books.
