The world of kink has many different avenues, but

a book filled with different scenarios, and they may not
all be your cup of tea, but if you're interested in good
short erotic stories, this book collects some of the best
moments to highlight.
Rachel Kramer Bussel has certainly picked a wide
variety of stories which can present one or two different
activities each of the BDSM community. In "Housebroken"
by Laila Blake, a Domme watches her kitten sleep and
wakes her with a gentle play session which shows the
power dynamic very effectively without harshness. To
contrast this is Angela R. Sargenti's "Help! My Wife's a
Former Dominatrix!" which depicts a punishment scene that
made me wince in sympathy for the sub while summarily
cheering his wife on. This book also introduces the
reader to brand new scenes; I had never considered the
idea of "kinky exercise" until I read the two excellent
pieces in this book dedicated to them.
On the whole, these authors seem to have a very
good grasp of the way the community works, from private
play to public and all areas in between. There's rarely a
story in which consent is not expressed in some way,
whether through negotiation or understanding of the
various safe-word systems. I think each author brings
something new to the table, but knows what is expected of
dominants and submissives in each and every relationship.
The collection is a very good read for someone who wants
just a little spice in their collection. I highly
recommend THE BIG BOOK OF SUBMISSION whether you are an
amateur, a professional, a hobby-practitioner, or just
someone who loves to read BDSM literature.
