Skylar Baang awakes to footsteps in her home. Before she can escape, she is drugged and kidnapped. Because she works for the Navy as a research scientist, NCIS is called in on the case. Special Agent Vincent Fitzgerald finds where the kidnappers are holding Skylar and, just as she is trying to escape, he rescues her. They flee to a safe house, only to be found again by these Russian kidnappers.

After a bloody battle ensues, Vin and Sky take off for a remote cabin belonging to a friend of his. It would really be nice to know who is after Sky and what they want. NCIS can't come up with any leads as to who is trying to kidnap Sky, and the men Vin left dead at the safe house only turn out to be Russian mercenaries for hire.
