Nalini Singh takes shy and sexy to a whole new level with David, the drummer for the School Boy Choir. Often overlooked by the other men in the band, David is a little bit of the underdog. Yet I find something very endearing and attractive about his character. David has harboured feelings for the band's publicist, Thea for a very long time and when he finally comes up with the nerves to do her out, he does it in a very unique and cute way.
Singh keeps the sexy tone throughout the novella, but I also feel that there's a sweet side to her Contemporary stories as well. Their emails back and forth take on a formal tone, but don't let that fool you - there is also a heady dose of naughtiness as well!
Thank you!
The one thing I wished was that this was a full length novel. David definitely deserved more than just a novella. Just when I was getting caught up into their romance, it ended and had really hoped there was more to come from these two. They're quite fun together and that's a great sign that the series is going well, when you have readers pining for more.
