My Rogue Lord is the 109 page prequel to Katherine Bone's full length novel Duke By Day, Rogue by Night. It provides historical insight and explains why the Nelson's Tea group was formed.
The main characters are Gillian Chauncy and Lord Simon Danbury. It was interesting to read about these two characters. Ms. Bone created a strong, brave heroine and a hero was an honorable man. These characters loved each other but were unable to be with each other.
MY LORD ROGUE provides background and sets the stage for the future books in the series. I enjoyed reading it and finished it in one afternoon. I am hoping that Ms. Bone will devote a future full length novel to these characters.
