Romance Suspense

The Stormchaser is back... and this time he has Red Cross employee Laura Doyle in his sights.

Laura is happily dating FBI agent Cameron Winger when a plane she is on crashes, leaving Laura as the lone survivor. Cameron is determined Laura will never feel helpless again, as he is determined to do everything in his power to love and protect Laura. The trauma of it leaves an impact on her but it is the publicity that pulls their nemesis, the serial killer called the Stormchaser, back into the picture. The Stormchaser is determined to destroy Laura, as he has a game planned to outwit the FBI agents. Will Cameron and his fellow agents uncover the Stormchaser's plan in time to save Laura's life a second time?

GOING GONE is the third and concluding book in Sharon Sala's Forces of Nature series. Readers can jump right into the third book but the emotions and intensity of GOING GONE make it best appreciated in the context of the trilogy as a whole.

Sharon Sala is well known for her deeply emotional and intense stories and GOING GONE is a stellar example of her skill. Sharon Sala portrays Laura's pain and anguish from the plane crash in a powerful, very sensitive way. There is a scene with Laura and Cameron on the plane home afterwards that still leaves me in tears, just thinking about it. I love Cameron's thoughtful and loving reactions to Laura as he helps her heal from the harrowing crash.

GOING GONE is yet another superb and easily recommended book from the gifted Sharon Sala. GOING GONE focuses more on the relationship between Cameron and Laura but is still chock-full of action as the intensity ramps up in this thrilling conclusion to the trilogy. I love each and every book I've read by Sharon Sala and GOING GONE is yet another keeper for my shelves. I highly recommend GOING GONE and the Forces of Nature series!

SUMMARY

The final storm of the season could be their last.

After barely escaping death when her plane crashed deep in the Rocky Mountains during a snowstorm, Laura Doyle is left with a lingering fear for her life. Her lover, FBI agent Cameron Winger, reassures her that he found her then and always will. But Laura is right to be afraid, because when their engagement is announced it signals to a madman that it's time for his killing spree to begin again.

Twice thwarted by Cameron and his partners, the Stormchaser pairs random acts of God with deliberate acts of evil. His final act of vengeance will finish his twisted vendetta by taking from Cameron the thing he loves most: Laura.

As law enforcement struggles to connect the gruesome murders he's committed to mask his return, the Stormchaser draws closer to his true target. But Cameron and Laura don't realize they're in the eye of the storm—and this time, being unprepared for the onslaught could spell disaster.
