Romance Erotica Sensual | Romance Contemporary

If a reader could not get enough of dominants and submissives from Fifty Shades of Grey, then LONGING by Jamie K. Schmidt should satisfied your craving. It is the second in a new series, Club Inferno. It is definitely one of those books that has you wondering what else could go wrong for the main character, in this case Anya Litton.

Anya Litton, a model and a fashion designer who has done a little less modeling lately has much insecurity with herself. At a size fourteen, and wanting a part in an off-Broadway play, her agent tells her she has to lose several pounds before she would be considered. Then she meets Clint Reyes, a Dom at Club Inferno. With his own dreams to one day own a bar, he is a stripper part time as well. There is something about Anya that he can't explain. As he opens her eyes up to his world she finds that she can feel desirable again. Is this perfect sexy man for real? Could he really mean everything that he tells her? Or is he playing her for his own pleasures? Both are put through tests of jealousy but can their relationship survive it?

I have to admit LONGING keeps you second-guessing certain characters' actions. I love how things are resolved throughout the storyline with each obstacle. However, a little more of making the reader wait for each resolution could not have hurt. The storyline is great with many things happening but not in way that you get lost. The characters are beautifully mixed in a plot that works.

LONGING takes you to a world of the dominants and submissives that others have not. If you are looking for an erotic novel that will fulfill that wild side, then LONGING by Jamie K. Schmidt should be on your bookshelf.

SUMMARY

Ready for the sexiest getaway of your life? Jamie K. Schmidt turns up the heat in the sizzling continuation of her Club Inferno series—an erotic romance that mixes BDSM with a powerful emotional connection. Reeling from a disastrous love affair, model and budding fashion designer Anya Litton needs a temporary refuge, a place to lick her wounds and plan her next career move. At Club Inferno, where seductively chic men and women indulge their most intimate fantasies, she can mix business with unimaginable pleasure. Anya quickly connects with club Dom Clint Reyes, who unleashes Anya’s deepest longings over nights of burning passion. Clint is a master at taking submissives to the heights of pleasure in Club Inferno’s opulent private dungeons. But it’s Anya who has Clint begging for more when the woman of his dreams becomes his eager partner in exploring the limits of desire. As their relationship ignites into an erotic contest of wills—and a jealous rival plots against them both—Clint prepares to fight for a future with Anya. In this complicated dance, the wrong move could end it all . . . and taking control means total surrender.
